I know I'm not the best blogger but that's ok! Steve and I have been so busy since I last posted. Since then, we moved into a new apartment and into a new ward!! And we LOVE both!! What a difference and we're so happy we did it!!
I'll start with Steve... Steve is still working at Q13 and doing really well! They recently came out of bankruptcy and Tribune re-bought them. So we're going to be here for a long, long time. Not that we thought about moving but now it's for sure!! Fox is getting a new system for Steven's department that will make his life easier at work! And out of everyone he works with they chose Steve and one other guy to learn this system and teach everyone how to use it! I'M SO PROUD OF HIM! He works so hard and for him to be recognized like this is amazing!! He also got a calling at church. He is now the Elder's Quorum Secretary! How perfect is that?!?! With his crazy OCD he will keep them nice and organized!! It'll be great!!
With me, nothing is too exciting. A while back I took an extension class and it was so much fun! So if you want longer, fuller hair... Come see me! ;) Also a couple of weeks ago, I got a calling as well. I'm the new Primary President!! Hahahaha. Crazy right?!?! Let me just say that this is pretty much a second job! But I love it and am so humbled! So if anyone wants to move into our ward that has kids in primary... Do it! They'll love it!! So if our blog turns into a primary blog... You'll understand! Plus if you have any primary idea's... I'll take em!!
That's about it with Steve and I! I don't know who reads this if anyone but incase you were wondering what happened to us... You'll understand now!! Another update will be up in 6 months! Until then!! Hahaha.
Peterson's!!!
Follow the life of the newly weds and the crazy things that come with it!!

CROCKPOT FREEZER MEALS!!!
Ok! So I know I haven't blogged in like a year or so but we're so busy and kind of boring. I mean all we do is work... No one wants to read about that. But I do have something very "exciting" to blog about today. Its CROCKPOT FREEZER MEALS! I've been seeing a lot about this on Pinterest so I decided I needed to try it since I work late most nights and the last thing I want to do is cook when I get home. So today, I tried it! OH MY GOSH it was AMAZING!!! Today I made 4 meals in less than an hour! It went by so quickly and it was way easier than I thought it would be. I totally recommend everyone should do it!!
Here are the recipes starting with the top left going clockwise...
BBQ Chicken
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 cup bbq sauce
1 sweet onion, sliced
salt and pepper to taste
Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Serve with rolls and ceasar salad.
POTATO SOUP
3 lbs potatoes, diced (about 1 inch squares)
2 cloves fresh garlic or 4 tablespoons garlic powder
1 medium onion, chopped
38 oz chicken stock
8 oz cream cheese, softened
salt and pepper to taste
Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8 hours. Top with Bacon, cheese, chives , sour cream.
CILANTRO LIME CHICKEN
1 1/2 lbs of chicken breast
juice of 2 limes
1 bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped
1 16 oz bag frozen corn
2 minced garlic cloves
1/2 red onion, chopped
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 tsp cumin
salt and pepper to taste
Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Serve with tortillas or on top of rice.
CROCKPOT CUBE STEAK AND GRAVY
Family size pack cube steak
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope onion soup mix
3/4 cup water
salt and pepper to taste
Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Serve over rice, noodles, mashed potatoes.
All you do is put all of the ingredients in a gallon size bag and put how long they need to cook for and then put in the freezer. When you want to cook it, take it out 24 hours before you need it. (I let it thaw in the fridge.)
Hope if anyone reads this, they'll enjoy it!! Haha. HAPPY CROCKPOTTING!!

Shawna in Seattle!!
As most of you know, my bestest friend in the wide world came to visit us last month!! It was so much fun!! We went everywhere, Seattle, Tacoma and everywhere in between! It was awesome! Here are a couple pictures to show how much fun we had!
The first thing I took her to, was the Temple.
While we were walking around the grounds, we came upon this awesome rock with water in it...
It looked like one of the pensieves out of Harry Potter! So of course we had to take pictures with it!
It was a lot of fun!
We also took Shawna to the Sand Castle Competition. This sculpture was
one of my favorites!! Say hi to the Finley's! :]
Here's the Space Needle from the Ferry Ride we went on.
Shawna and I on the boat! SOOO FUN!!
I wouldn't mind living here... PLEASE!!
This is our Captain's name on the Duck Tour... Get it? Noah Lott?
Like Know a lot? Hahaha
We got so close to this boat! And its beautiful!!
The infamous GUM WALL!!
Here we are at Owen Beach in Tacoma! Love it!!
Besties!! Love her!!
This is public art in Tacoma. You can write whatever you want!! And this was a joke with us!!

Back to School
As many of you know, my mom is working at an LDS bookstore called Beehive Books and more. They have everything there... scouting stuff, suits, Down East clothing, custom framing, music and tons of LDS books! My mom is absolutely loving it there! So they put my mom in charge of events. Which is perfect for her!! Remember this?!...
Mom is working on the Back to School event going on she was saying how she might want Steve to draw her a School Bus. So here's the conversation between Steve and I when I told him this...
Lindsey- Hey Steve, mom is probably going to see if you can draw her a school bus for the bookstore.
Steve- Does she want Jesus driving it?
I busted a gut when he said this. Its so funny. Carolyn... Now you know where Jared comes up with this kind of stuff... He learns it from Uncle Steve!
Anyway, have fun with all your back to school stuff!!!!

We're BACK!!!
My bad!! I've been awful at this blogging thing. I don't really know how it all works, so forgive me! Well most of you guys may know that Steve is a HUGE soccer fan. I MEAN HUUUUUGE fan! And the most amazing day of his life came when his favorite team, Manchester United came to play the Seattle Sounders. It was the biggest moment of his life... Bigger than our wedding day! He was so overwhelmed actually watching his team play in person. Man. Utd beat the Sounders 7-0. Pretty sweet!!!
At the game... Steve introduced me to hot dogs with cream cheeese and grilled onions. AMAZING!!! You gotta try it!!
Also, my brother Jason got married on July 30th. He and Kristel looked so happy and the weather was amazing!! I don't have any pictures, but when I come across some I'll put some up!!
I promise I'll be better at this!!! More to come soon!!!
